The current IPA concept is based mainly on localities GPS 148, 149, 151 and 154, while GPS 136 is retained as a supplementary locality representing the same ecological setting outside the proposed boundary.
After taxonomic standardisation, the checklist contains 57 accepted vascular plant taxa. Vegetation includes petrophytic steppe, shrub–wormwood–grass communities, forb-rich steppe and onion-dominated assemblages on light chestnut and shallow stony soils. Among the recorded species are Tanacetum ulutavicum, Artemisia semiarida, Tulipa patens, Tulipa schrenkii, Allium galanthum, Iris scariosa, Rosa persica, Peucedanum morisonii and Medicago falcata. Several taxa are regionally important, protected, endemic or valuable as forage, medicinal or ornamental plants.
The dataset is intended for conservation planning, IPA assessment, habitat monitoring and future studies of petrophytic steppe ecosystems in Central Kazakhstan.
